Playground

Playground is an interactive sound sculpture by Ellen Reid that revels in the innocence of childhood while raising questions about the future our children will inhabit, and the creativity they might need to draw on in order to survive.

materials: repurposed swing set, car mufflers, oil drums, tail pipes, helium caps, plastic tubing, motorcycle wheel, helium tanks, gas containers, air conditioning duct, tire, plastic straws.
